REPORT SUMMARY:
A man from East Belfast encountered a daytime UFO sighting whilst looking outside his 14 story apartment building one crisp sunny morning. He describes the object as eerily drifting and floating across the sky from the Belvoir direction towards Stormont. The man says that it wasn’t self illuminating but reflected the sun's light, and was dark and almost “batwing” shaped. It tilted from side to side and front to back, flashing with an electric blue light just like a police siren at night. He was so stunned by the weirdness of the encounter that he didn’t think to lift his phone, However he eventually got it and claims to have filmed about 30 seconds of the encounter that he has on his phone.

"While looking out the window from my 14tg floor flat on a clear blue sky morning i saw a dark object about the size of a door moving strangely and silently tipping and tilting along from side to side front to back and when it tilted in such a way i could see the top brirfly it flashed with a brilliant electric blue just like that of a police siren at night but this was reflecting sunlight not actually emmiting the light itself, more like glinting in the sun. It was a dark batwing like object definately not a bird or plastic bag it was strange because there wasnt a single bird around. I watched for too long withouth thinking to grab my phone stunned by its weirdness in amazement but did manage to film it for 30 seconds before it just drifted/glided silently away over the top of stormont buildings and over the craigantlet hill. I live at clarawood and it came from the belvoir direction. Not fast at all just kind of drifty/floaty erratic movements but directional as if it knew where it was going. I have the footage on my phone still."

Investigator comments:
A very interesting report. The movements described are commonly seen in cases of disc shaped aircrafts, the ‘wobble’ motion. The ufo is described as dark and reflective to the suns light which indicates that there is something physically there in the sky, the fact that Colin lives in a high rise flat gave him an advantage in seeing this supposed craft. He describes the encounter as eerie and that the UFO seemed to know where it was going. He also adds that there was strangely no sound of any birds or animals which is quite uncommon especially in the morning time and this suggests intelligence on the objects behalf and possible physical changes to the surrounding environment. It would appear from reading that the object moved away once he began filming the footage which could suggest it was aware of his filming and possibly moved on because of it, unless it was just the timing of it’s departure.
